Gymnastics Graduation

These pictures are a little out of order in regard to when they were taken, but I had to wait for the gymnastics coach to send them to me! (Yes, I actually left the house without taking my camera with me!) Reagan "graduated" from her gymnastics class at the end of January, and she is now in the SUPER BEASTS class! Here are a few cute pics of her receiving her medal on graduation day.

Just a Swingin'

Reagan loves to be outside. Every morning, the first thing she does when we get downstairs is start chanting "park, park, park, park." That is what she calls her backyard! So once it is warm enough, out we go! The past few days, she has started to become quite the little daredevil. She is so proud of herself for being able to swing in the "big girl" swing all by herself. No more baby swing for Reagan!

Reagan's Wagon

Reagan got a new wagon (thank you Pops and Momsey) and she loves going to the park in it everyday when Ryan gets home from work. It has become her new routine. Luckily, the weather has been phenomenal here the past couple of weeks. This is normally our rainy season, but it has been dry, sunny and warm (close to 60) each day for a while now. So we are taking advantage of it while we can, and we're soaking up the sun! Hopefully this means that winter is finally over and we can start getting ready for the summer!

Not So Sleepless in Seattle

After such an eventful day, Reagan was more than ready to go to bed!

M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E

This was a star studded event. All of the characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, The Little Einsteins, and Handy Manny were in the house! Reagan wanted to get on stage with them all. As close as our seats were, she just about could!

Playhouse Disney!

Reagan's favorite TV station is Playhouse Disney, so we were very excited to find out that they were going to be performing live on stage in Seattle. That was the whole reason for our trip. The show was FANTASTIC! Reagan was in awe the entire time, and she was jumping up and down when Mickey Mouse came on stage. Something tells me that in just a few more years, this little girl is going to be begging to go to Disney World!

The Fun Park

The Space Needle caters to ALL ages... they strategically placed a kids fun park right at the base of the needle that was impossible to resist! We were a little hesitant at first, but Reagan insisted on riding the rides all by herself. The elephant ride picture is a bit tough to see, but sure enough she was spinning round and flying high all on her own. The cars weren't too dangerous, but she had to compromise and let me ride the carousel with her. We had such a good time!

Pike Place Public Market

We took the monorail train to the Pike Place Public Market by the waterfront in Seattle. That was one busy place! It reminded me a bit of the French Quarter in New Orleans with the open market style, but it wasn't quite as big. Again, the views from the waterfront were spectacular. Reagan loved riding on the "choo choo train" (too bad it didn't have the whistle that she was listening for!) and she had the pigeons practically eating out of her hand. I must admit that I am quite impressed with the picture of the sea gull standing over the highway with Safeco Field in the background. I'm not sure how it happened, but it turned out pretty cool!

The Space Needle

We had an amazing view of The Space Needle from our hotel room. It literally seemed that we could just reach out of our window and touch it! It was pretty awesome to see all lit up at night. And the views from the top were breathtaking!

Valentine's Weekend

We went to Seattle for Valentine's weekend to take Reagan to see the Playhouse Disney on stage performance. We took advantage of the time that we were there, and did quite a bit of sightseeing as well. I think that Reagan's favorite part of the trip (other than seeing Mickey Mouse live in person!) was the fact there was a swimming pool in the hotel. She is such a fish! Here's a few pictures of her at the pool each day we were there.

Daddy's Award

Thankfully someone took a picture of Ryan receiving his award with his boss, Tim. There's even a shot of Ryan as he is giving his "acceptance speech!" Reagan was so excited to see her Daddy when he got home, and she was once again spoiled rotten with the souvenirs that he brought back for her. I couldn't resist snapping a shot of her snuggling with Ryan while wearing the shirt that he got her.

Girls Weekend

Daddy went to New Brunswick for the weekend to accept his NATIONAL AWARD for the Best Landscape Maintenance in ALL OF CANADA, so Reagan and I had a "Girls Weekend". Ryan doesn't like sushi, so it was the perfect time to have it since I love it! Reagan gave it a good shot, but she was more interested in using the chopsticks than actually eating it.
By the way, we are so proud of Ryan for this award. It's a major accomplishment to have even been nominated, much less to have won the biggest award of all. Reagan's Daddy is AMAZING!

Braids

As you can tell from this blog, I love playing with Reagan's hair! I couldn't believe that she actually sat still long enough for me to do it, but I was able to braid her hair. It didn't stay up long because she wouldn't leave it alone, but it was cute for a few minutes!

I Need a Nap

It's not often that Reagan takes naps anymore... I'm lucky if she takes on at least once a week. But every so often, she just NEEDS one! This day, she climbed into my recliner, pulled the blanket down around her and fell asleep within seconds. She was one tired girl!
