We were only home for two days before Reagan was admitted to the hospital again. She had a relapse with the RSV, and she had developed several new infections. Her final diagnosis was: RSV, Staphylococcus, an ear infection, a sinus infection, a bladder infection, a urniary tract infection, a gastro-intestinal infection, and thrush. We were in the hospital for 6 days this time, bringing the grand total to 17 days. We are home now, and she is finally starting to recover. We are still in "quarantine" and will be until at least the middle to end of March. Our doctor still wants to perform a couple more tests, but her immune system needs to rebuild before those can be scheduled. Both of the tests will be perfomed at BC Children's Hopspital in downtown Vancouver, and we all know that hospitals are full of germs! In the meantime, Reagan and I are hanging out at home and having lots of fun while she continues to get well. She has expanded her repertoire of favorite TV shows to include "Elmo's World" and "The Backyardigans" along with her Baby Einstein vidoes. And she is talking up a storm now. Mama, Dad, and Daddy have been in her vocabulary for some time now. And she constantly talks to "Bob", which we have finally decided also means Mom. She said "apple" a few times while we were in the hospital, but she hasn't said it since we have been back home. Her newest word is "Didi" which means Dixie. Everytime the dog comes into the room, Reagan smiles, claps her hands and says "Hi Didi!!" It is too cute!
