THANK YOU

I have to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who has given me such great advice over the past week as to how to push through my weight loss plateau. I plan to use bits and pieces of all your advice to finish kicking my butt into shape. If you haven't done so already, you really should read through all of the comments that I received from that post. Especially if you need some nutrition and fitness advice yourself!

You also may want to check out the gals over at Bookieboo... they have given me some terrific tips and encouragement. I definitely plan to add some strength training to my workouts! You should also check out Makeover Momma. She has featured me on her blog today regarding my workouts, and she will do another feature next week to discuss what I am doing wrong with my diet.

Now, as to WHEN I will actually implement any of these new workout ideas... well that remains a mystery right now. I have been having some really sharp pains in my left foot, and it is getting worse instead of better. I had an x-ray done yesterday to check for a fifth metatarsal stress fracture, which is what my doctor thinks is the problem. I should hear from him today regarding the results of the x-ray and then he will decide if he also needs to order a bone scan of my foot. In the meantime, I've been told to use the R.I.C.E. method and to not exercise until we fully know what the problem is.

I'll keep you posted...

Oh I need to go read all those comments, I need ideas! Lately I have been feeling so blah and not in the mood to work out or stick to my diet. Grrr!

But keep at it woman! You're looking great!

Bless your heart. I hope you can get back on track soon, I know I sure miss the workouts now that I have that as a routine. Have a great day and take care of yourself.

I'm definitely going to go through your comments and put some to work in my diet :)

I also wanted to tell you that the picture of the roller coaster on my blog is not even the biggest one in the park!!!! The biggest one is too much for me and though I've ridden it about 20 times I can't do it anymore because I just about have a full on anxiety attack on it! Google "Top Thrill Dragster" and you can see some pics of it...SCARY!!

Good luck w/ recovering from your injury and getting back on track w/ your weight loss. I just started my latest diet today as I prep to be thin for my sister's wedding.

Oh - I'm so glad you were able to glean something from the comments made. :) And I'm so sorry that your foot is hurting. UGH!
Walking is the best - less injuries - when you get back to it.
God bless you! (((HUGS)))

Good Luck! I don't know why, (well, yes I do, I eat too much) but I am just not losing weight as quickly as I used to. I so have to start working out! And eating better, too.

Hey - I've just started taking an over the counter product. I've had probs losing weight lots this last 6 mos. I go to a naturopathic Dr. and he told me to take this: http://www.pgx.com/us/en and it's high in fiber and helps control blood sugar levels. Well I've been on it for only a few days and I've lost alittle and I feel much better. :)
So I hope you check it out - it may or may not help you. :) God bless you.
