Halloween Post at Christmas

I know, I know, I know, I know.... I had said that I was going to do better.

Obviously, I am just not meant to be working full time! Well, maybe if I only worked 40 hours a week, then I would still have time to do things like keep my precious blog up to date. But lately, between my job at the hotel and my bridal business work, I feel like I barely have time to play with Reagan much less keep a clean house or work on my blog.

But guess what folks?! I have figured out how to log onto blogger from work. At first, this site was blocked by my server, but I've managed to bypass it and now we are back in business. I'm not making you any promises, but my hope is that on slower days at work, I may be able to get a little blogging done in my down time!

With that being said, let's take a moment and travel back in time almost 6 weeks ago to Halloween.
We started off the day by carving some truly amazing pumpkins. I've always tried to have the best pumpkins on the block, and this year was no different. Ryan, Reagan, Anna and I were all excited to start playing in the pumpkin goop, and things really got interesting when we pulled out the power tools. I've never tried to carve such elaborate designs into a pumpkin before, and I have to tell you that I was pretty impressed with what we accomplished... Dora, Diego and Swiper pumpkins!
We took our pumkins and drove to go trick-or-treating with our friends who live about an hour away. Reagan was so happy to be able to spend Halloween with Charley and Caden, and the rest of us enjoyed a great night with friends as well. Reagan had insisted that we all dress up for the night, so I was the mommy unicorn for baby Reagan unicorn. Auntie Anna was a witch and Ryan was Superman. Reagan was so cute as she and I would run from house to house to get candy. At one point Reagan yelled out to me, "Use your muscles and fly like a unicorn, Mommy. We have to go faster to get all the candy!"

Once the kids were all snuggled up in bed, the adults enjoyed an evening of pretending to be rock stars on the Wii. At some point during the evening, Superman stole Daphne's go-go boots and wig, and appartantly Auntie Anna mistook him for a guitar as well! Needless to say, we all had a VERY good time!
I am now convinced that we have to have a Wii and RockBand for Christmas because this was SO MUCH FUN!!!
