Being Canadian

I hate to admit it, but I think I am becoming more Canadian than I realized. Back in South Carolina, 58 degrees Farenheit (14 C) would not warrant putting on a bathing suit and playing outside. And even if the warmer temperatures did promote you to play outside at all, Carolinians would most certainly would not be playing hockey! Most of them wouldn't anyway. But what do you know... it was a blazing 58 degrees here this morning, and after getting out of the hot tub from a nice relaxing dip, we all decided to stay outside and soak up the sun for awhile. Reagan is proving herself to be quite the natural when it comes to hockey, which makes her Daddy so very very proud. He's even more excited about the fact that she is a left-handed shot, just like him!
We're heading back out to enjoy the nice hot day... I never thought I would consider anything under 70 to be hot!

I agree wholeheartdly. It takes a true northerner to do these things. All my students? Once it hits 40 degrees they break out the shorts.
I left you an award, so check it out!

If I ever have to leave the state of California, I am so heading to Canada. It seems like all of the cool people I know on the Internet live there.

Won't you be my neighbor? :)

haha. Girl I hear ya. I grew up in Texas (and even lived in South Carolina a couple of years ago) and now in Indiana where we are outside if it hits 35-40 degrees. That would not happen in the south.

Wow! I feel like our daughter is undergoing the same thing. We moved from California to Massachusetts, and anything above 50 degrees is now hot!

Haha... so true, huh? If it's 'plus' anything in Canada, weather-wise, people start dressing like it's summer!
